The
purpose of this website is to offer the participant the
benefit of Dr. Bronner’s forty years integration of
psychiatric understanding and techniques to the therapeutic
and educational needs of marriage and family therapists as
well as
licensed clinical social workers, psychologists, and
registered nurses. Few psychiatrists learn or
practice insight-oriented psychotherapy any longer and few MFT/LCSW/Ph.D./R.N.'s are even taught it in any in-depth fashion in
their training programs. The result is that the patients
who need more than brief, surface psychotherapy are unable
to receive it. That understanding is contained in Dr.
Bronner's book:
THE PSYCHIATRIC HANDBOOK
FOR NON-PSYCHIATRIC THERAPISTS.
Dr. Bronner has used his forty years of clinical experience and
training in biology, embryology, psychology, learning
theory, communication theory, sociology, physiology, child
and adolescent psychiatry and psychoanalytic principles to
enable the participant to understanding unconscious personality
development and emotional functioning. |
